BoomTrac™ Pro 2 is a fully integrated boom height-sensing system for enhanced spraying accuracy by maintaining correct boom height in difficult soil conditions side-to-side, up and down.

Overview

Self-propelled sprayers have a wide working width and operate at high speeds. They can make more than three times the number of passes over the same field during a growing season compared to other types of machinery. Consequently, it's essential for operators to cover large areas quickly while ensuring a quality job with even application. It's also crucial to navigate around any obstacles present in the field or near its edge to avoid equipment (specifically boom) damage. Therefore, integrating turn automation into the application process can significantly enhance application accuracy and productivity, reduce operator fatigue and skill requirements, and result in cost savings.

Overview

ExactApply MultiRate (VR) enhances our ExactApply nozzle capabilities by enabling the delivery of multiple rates across the boom. This innovation allows for improved rate resolution, particularly while utilizing application prescriptions. Critical uses include tailored fertilizer for small grains and corn based on plant and soil conditions, such as top-dressing in wheat and pre-emerge nutrients for corn. ExactApply MultiRate (VR) also introduces pulsing during A+B Switching, expanding performance and speed ranges while ensuring proper droplet size. Moreover, it significantly increases the rate range during curve compensation, allowing versatile utilization across all three nozzle configurations down the boom for optimal application precision.

 

This is a software update that comes when selecting order code 4985 – John Deere ExactApply Nozzle Control and is available on the model year 2025 R4023, 408R, 410R, 412R, 612R, and 616R. ExactApply MultiRate across the Boom is compatible with model year 2022 and forward sprayers. A+B Switching and Pulsing is compatible with all ExactApply configurations.

The STS20 joins the STS16 with factory installed See & Spray Premium availability. With both models moving from limited to full production availability, it makes the two Hagie models the most advanced, versatile, agile and productive sprayer in the lineup.

 

  • Gain cost efficiency – With up to 50 percent spray volume reduction, this means significantly lower herbicide costs, fewer tendering stops, and more acres covered in a day.
  • See & Spray Technology detects and targets to spray weeds in corn, soybean and cotton crops. Its evolutionary technology leverages John Deere's proven ExactApply Technology, which activates individual nozzles, to precisely apply material only when weeds are detected.
  • When used with a strong residual herbicide program, See & Spray allows growers to protect fields by applying what they need where they need it, potentially reducing post contact herbicide use by up to 50 percent.
  • Using less herbicide means using less water and creating less opportunity for drift, and that’s good for the land, water, and air that sustain us.

Overview

Late season applications utilizing the rear boom over tall crop just got easier and more precise. With up-to-date software, leaving the cab to switch the center section off and divert to the rear boom can now be done from the driver’s seat. Also included is Multi-Rank, the offset of the rear boom is now compensated for.

The predictive pump control ensures target rates are accomplished faster, even in challenging dynamic conditions. Add the optional dedicated pull-on pump for fast and accurate solution tank loading and/or ExactApply™ for nozzle-by-nozzle control.
