You can choose three different engines for your John Deere F8 and F9 Series Forage Harvester. Each featuring the proven John Deere Harvest Motion low RPM concept with ideal characteristics to keep your harvest moving. No matter what challenges your harvest throws at you. The John Deere JD14X engine in the F8 and the John Deere JD18X engine (NO DEF – AdBlue®) in the F9 500 to 700 are designed and built by John Deere specifically for the toughest agricultural application. Unlike truck engines, John Deere’s own engines are built to last. Already proven for thousands of hours in the X9 Combines, the 9RX tractors and sugar cane harvesters. The top-of-the-line forage harvesters, the F9 900 and F9 1000 feature the Liebherr 24l V12 engine delivering above 1000 PS.

 

HARVESTMOTION™

A state-of-the-art low RPM engine concept with ideal performance characteristics and low specific fuel consumption at reduced rpm, perfectly aligned and synchronized with a superior crop flow. HARVESTMOTION™ is standard on all F8 and F9 Series models from the F8 100 to the F9 1000.

 

HARVESTMOTION™ Plus

Unique in the world of forage harvesters with the John Deere F9 featuring the JD18X in the F9 500 to F9 700 HarvestMotion™ Plus delivers extra torque and power at low engine speeds. When pushing your machine to the maximum performance, you can even feel it. The drivability is excellent – with ease you can push the engine to the max. Looking below you can see the engine curves of the F9 500. At 1400 rpm HarvestMotion™ Plus sets free additional 65 PS on top of the 700 PS rated power.

 

ECO Mode

With the push of a button, you can select the ECO Mode resulting in the adaptation of a preset engine to tune down the engine power resulting in lower fuel consumption and more efficient harvest in conditions where the full potential of the engine is not required. ECO Mode is standard on the on the F8 200 to F8 600 and on the F9 600 to F9 1000.

F8 Series Engine

John Deere F8 Series SPFH uses the John Deere JD14X, 13.6 l (827 cu in.) engine installed on the entire range from the F8 100 to the F8 600. Push the engine between 1700 rpm and 1500 rpm for maximum performance and efficiency.

The JD14X, an Inline 6-cylinder engine features wet liners, valve-in-head, single and dual stage turbochargers and are air-to-air intercooled. The maintenance interval is 500 h to reduce service costs and service time to a minimum.

The JD14 (13.6L/827-cu in.) engine from John Deere Power Systems has the power to handle the toughest harvest conditions. With durable design and heavy-duty components, you can depend on the Final Tier 4 (FT4)/Stage V compliant JD14 engine.

 

We developed the JD14 from the ground up, starting with stronger castings and bearings and tougher internal components, all designed to meet the high demands of field operations. We replaced the fuel injectors with a high-pressure common rail (HPCR) fuel system to boost fuel efficiency and lower operation and maintenance costs. Integrated coolant and oil passages, along with a new belt-driven water pump, eliminate potential leak points and allow for a less-crowded engine compartment, improving serviceability and reducing debris accumulation.

 

In redesigning the engine, we also gave it:

• Hydraulic valve lash adjusters to maintain valve-lash settings during engine operation, reduce valve train noise and wear, and allow for greater fuel efficiency.
• A new integrated wiring harness design features a modular layout for reduced vibration, greater reliability, and easier service and diagnostics. A rear gear train that integrates fully into the cast-iron block, reducing engine noise and improving the durability of the crankshaft damper.
• Combination sensors where possible, meaning fewer sensors, connectors, and wires.

F9 Series SPFH Engine

John Deere F9 Series SPFH uses two engine models. The John Deere JD18X 18L (1098-cu in.) engine installed on the F9 500, F9 600 and F9 700 and the Liebherr® V 12 24.2-L (1477-cu in.) engine installed on the F9 900 and F9 900.

The JD18X, an Inline 6-cylinder engine features wet liners, valve-in-head, dual stage turbochargers and are air-to-air intercooled. The maintenance interval is 750 h to reduce service costs and service time to a minimum. On this engine NO DEF is required!

The Liebherr D9512, a 12-cylinder V-engine features wet liners, valve-in-heads, dual single-stage turbos (SST) and are air-to-air intercooled. The maintenance interval is 1000 h to reduce service costs and service time to a minimum.

Longitudinal engine position and efficient engine cooling

All John Deere SPFH are designed with a longitudinal engine position. The longitudinal engine position enables:

• Slim design of the SPFH for better view in the rear
• Best component accessibility for service
• Good weight distribution which prevents a high additional ballast requirement in the rear
• Low center of gravity for the machine
• Optimal air flow for efficient engine cooling

The fully mechanical driven engine fan is matched to the engine power without the need for hydraulic components, resulting in simple, reliable and efficient cooling performance.  In combination with the now fully mechanically driven suction blower the cooling package will stay clean allowing the maximum of airflow without resistance to the cooling package. Within the suction fan assembly, a cleaning nozzle is integrated for easy cleaning of the blower system.

 

In hot conditions with an ambient temperature above 38°C (100.4°F) and 3000 ft Elevation (915 m) where the engine’s normal cooling system can reach its limit, increased engine fan speed (Order code 8716) provides sufficient cooling for the engine. Available for the F9 600 to F9 1000 in the United States (0202), Canada (0184) and Mexico (0195).

The unique characteristics of the John Deere 18X and Liebherr V12 engines include a low rpm concept with a maximum engine rpm to 1800 rpm, a wide range of constant power, and the highest torque between 1300 rpm and 1400 rpm. This enables producers to operate the SPFH very efficiently at the limit – this is the HARVESTMOTION™ concept.

 

The JD18X engine for the F9 500 to F9 700 with the HarvestMotion Plus concept stands for efficient, powerful, and reliable performance. HARVESTMOTION™ Plus combines the well-known HarvestMotion concept with a unique torque growth up to 50 percent and a power growth up to 9,3 percent at low engine rpm which results in an ideal engine characteristic for SPFH.

 

The JD18X engine achieves EU Stage V and FT4 emission regulations without diesel exhaust fluid (DEF – AdBlue®), which is unique in the market for SPFH.

Engine Starting Aid

Cold start aids are recommended for John Deere SPFH that are frequently started at or below -6°C (21.2°F).

 

For the F8 Series SPFH, an ether starting kit is available (Order code 8702). This kit injects ether into the air intake manifold, allowing quick combustion even in below-average temperatures. In addition, a 110-V, high-wattage block heater (Order code 8700) can be ordered. Both options are factory installed.

 

The John Deere F9 Series with the JD18X and the Liebherr V12 Engine can be equipped optionally with an air intake heater (Order code 8705). The air intake heater is factory installed.

Endurance – New fuel tank options

Standard on the F8 is a 1100 l (290 gal) fuel tank. Optionally a 1450 l (383 gal) fuel tank (Order code 8706) can be ordered. Standard on the F9 is a 1500 L (396 gal) fuel tank.

 

An improved fuel tank design with a bigger sump on the F-Series allows for extended side slope operation.

 

In combination with a 151 l (39.9 gal) DEF tank on Final Tier 4/Stage V models, long harvest days are no match!

 

Except on the F9 500 to 700 with the JD18X engine – The JD18X engine achieves EU Stage V and FT4 emission regulations without diesel exhaust fluid (DEF – AdBlue®), which is unique in the market for SPFH.

Chrome exhaust pipe

To make the outside appearance of the John Deere SPFH complete, an optional chrome exhaust pipe (Order code 8715) is available. The F8 and F9 500 to F9 700 features one exhaust, and the F9 900 and F9 1000 features two exhausts. Just looks amazing!

The driveline concept of the F8 and F9 forage harvesters is the most efficient concept in the industry. The main belt is positioned on the left-hand side of the machine to allow for unobstructed access to the crop path for better serviceability and accessibility to the kernel processor and crop accelerator area.

The major crop engaging components in the crop flow (kernel processor, crop accelerator, and cutterhead) are driven via the main belt which gets its torque from the power distribution gearbox.

In order to adjust the machine to various crop conditions and to ensure functionality in corner conditions, feedrolls and the header are hydraulically driven. The header speed can be automatically synchronized with the feedroll speed. The IVLOC™ transmission is a space-saving, fully hydraulically driven system that allows more room for mounting larger tires. The length-of-cut (LOC) range addresses the challenging needs of biogas producers as well as those with high-yielding dairy herds.

 

Looking at the higher power output of the F-Series, all the power flow harvesting components have changed to accept this power increase. Hydraulic and hydrostatic pump and motor flow rates as well as speed ratio have adapted to handle the higher engine horsepower and the low engine rpm for the HarvestMotion and the HarvestMotion Plus concepts. Due to the pulley configuration, the main drive belt is shorter and provides a belt with up to 9 ribs.

Power distribution gear

Directly linked to the engine is the power distribution gear, which drives the different hydraulic pumps and the main belt pulley. In total, four different hydraulic pumps are connected to the gearbox. Located on the right-hand side of the vehicle is the ground-drive pump, directly opposed by the feedroll drive and the load sensing pump for all individual hydraulic functions. On the left-hand side, the header drive pump is mounted.

The power distribution gearbox is designed with dry sump lubrication. This means that there is no oil fill in the gearbox. Functionality is assured by forced lubrication from an oil tank underneath the transmission. An extra oil pump serves in a closed lubrication loop.

Driveline Efficiency

The total power loss due to the power distribution gearbox is reduced to a maximum of 0.5 percent. If the gearbox was not as efficient, it would be red-hot-glowing when above 1000 PS are being distributed. The small size of the gearbox cooling in the cooling package is proof of efficiency. This concept allows the longitudinal placement of the engine, reducing the power required by the engine fan to cool the drivetrain. The power savings on the engine fan side, exceed the loss in the gearbox, resulting in an overall more efficient concept compared to drivetrains with transversal placed engines.

Mechanical Harvesting Component Drive

All core harvesting components like the cutterhead, kernel processor, and crop accelerator consume around 70 percent of the total power available from the engine and are mechanically driven from the main power take-off (PTO) transmission via the main power band. This assures that the greatest power consumers on the machine are free driven.

Highly Adaptive Hydrostatic Header and Feedroll Drive

Header speed management is essential for even feeding, chopping quality, and harvesting performance.

 

About 12 to 15 percent of the engine power is dedicated to the crop intake components. Functionality has clear priority over efficiency in this machine segment. Nevertheless, smart hydrostatic drive technology minimizes power losses at utmost component functionality.

 

Machine performance is massively enhanced, not only in standard harvesting situations, but also in critical corner conditions.

 

Synchronized component speeds, from the tip of the pickup tine reel to the hand off between the auger and feedrolls to the speed of the cutterhead, results in smooth crop flow through the machine. Not only does this have a major effect on harvesting efficiency, but it also affects cut and silage quality.

Overview

On the power consumption map of the F8 and F9 self-propelled forage harvester (SPFH), up 10 percent of gross engine power is dedicated to machine ground propulsion. The John Deere ground drive allows optimizing the driving experience on the road and on the field under harvesting conditions.

 

With the new series, two transmissions are available. The proven ProDrive™ and the new ProDrive™ 2Shift as replacement for the Push Button Shift (PBST) transmission.

ProDrive™ transmission

The ProDrive™ Transmission is available for all F8 and F9 models, featuring exceptional, redefined ground drive experience. It is a hydrostatic transmission with a two-speed automatic-shifting mechanical gearbox and is available in four different final speed configurations from 20 to 40 km/h (12 to 25 mph). With an up to an 170cc big front motor and a differential lock you will keep moving.

 

ProDrive™ allows the operator to continuously adjust the harvester’s speed at high torque up to 20 km/h (12 mph) in the field and up to 40 km/h (25 mph) on the road. By simply pushing the master control lever forward, the ProDrive™ propulsion system infinitely adjusts the speed. Together with the integrated differential lock, anti-slippage regulation (ASR) system, and parking brake, this transmission delivers the highest efficiency and unmatched driving comfort.

 

Another advantage of ProDrive™ is the included fuel-saving technology of engine-speed management (ESM). This feature leads to fuel savings of up to 18.9 percent during field work. In addition, the engine speed during road transport can be reduced automatically, which also provides fuel savings. Automation systems like Ground Speed Automation are fully available.

 

The ProDrive™ transmission is recommended in all regions where a highly efficient mode of harvesting and road transport is required and where the machine must provide the best traction and performance possible in muddy and/or hilly terrain.

 

If a WD rear axle is configured, ProDrive™ automatically disengages the rear axle so the operator can drive straight from the field to the road without having to switch to neutral to avoid time losses.

ProDrive™ 2Shift transmission

ProDrive™ 2Shift, a replacement for the PBST transmission, it is a hydrostatic transmission with a two-speed manual-shifting mechanical gearbox and is available on the F8-Series.

 

Four different final speed configurations from 20 to 40 km/h (12 to 25 mph) are available. Up to 20 km/h (12 mph) in the field and up to 40 km/h (25 mph) on the road. With up to an 170cc big front motor you will keep moving.

 

ProDrive™ 2Shift does not feature a differential lock, but automation systems like Ground Speed Automation are fully available.

Rear axle configurations

For hilly or muddy conditions as well as for producers who want to protect their soil, the John Deere SPFH can be equipped with a powered rear axle.

 

For the rear axle configuration, you can choose between 2WD and 4WD with the option for a heavy duty 11.5 t rear axle on the F8-Series. New with the F-Series is an adjustable 4WD ratio (front / rear load distribution) when combined with the ProDrive™ transmission.

The rear-axle mechanical-hydrostatic transmission supplies additional traction to allow operating the harvester in slippery, adverse ground conditions. The axle is driven by a variable 170-cc (10.4-cu in.) hydraulic motor. 4WD can be engaged and disengaged on the go with an armrest button or a configured button on the backside of the multifunction lever.

 

The powered rear axle for ProDrive™ features the following:

• Anti-slip regulation (ASR) switch
• Adjustable 4WD ratio (front / rear load distribution)
• Usable in the entire speed range
• Slip control in backward uphill conditions
• Controls rear-wheel speed in forward downhill conditions
• No speed change upon engagement due to variable front wheel motor

With ASR activated, the machine monitors the wheel speed to maintain the same speed on both the front and rear wheels. An ASR icon shows on the indicator light display monitor, informing the operator this option has been turned on.

 

Increased steering angle

The rear axle in combination with a new mainframe was optimized for extreme maneuverability resulting in increased steering angles (for 90 percent of the machines) to max 38 degrees possible (Wide stand: max. 42 degrees). This results in extremely nimble machines and a turning radius of 6 m (20 ft).

 

Overall, the axles were optimized regarding:

• New spacers on steering stop bolts to limit max. possible steering angle
• New position of pivoting stops (moved to center housing)
• New King Pin design for adoption of new wheel angle sensors and updated protection covers
• Improved greasing performance for King Pin / Bushing with two independent grease points

11.5t heavy-duty rear axle

All John Deere F9 models are equipped with the heavy-duty rear axle. This axle enables a maximum technical rear axle load of 11.5t. This axle is optional on the F8-Series (Order Code 8222).

Central Tire Inflation System

All F8 and F9 SPFH can be fully configured with a Central Tire Inflation System (CTIS) (Order Code 8245) or alternatively CTIS Ready (Order Code 8240) on the front axle.

 

The Twin Line System is fully integrated via ISOBUS VT functionality and uses high quality PTG Components. Inflating / deflating in less than 5 minutes on the move for fast road to field / field to road conversion even with 900/60 R42 tires.

 

Any F8 or F9 forage harvester equipped with CTIS or CTIS ready codes from the factory will come standard with the 2-cylinder air compressor.

When ordering CTIS, the Air Compressor package HD (8710) is required. CTIS Ready features pre-drilled final drives for easy retrofit at a later point.

HarvestLab 3000 enables operators to make high quality forage

The HarvestLab 3000 sensor mounts to the top of the discharge spout and takes accurate dry matter and ingredient readings (more than 4000 measurements per second) of the crop through the sapphire glass lens as crop passes through the spout. This is the same technology forage labs use to measure dry matter.

 

HarvestLab 3000 with John Deere Constituent Sensing measures dry matter and constituents like sugar, starch, acid detergent fiber (ADF), neutral detergent fiber (NDF), crude fiber, crude ash, crude protein, and crude fat depending on the crop. In addition, the HarvestLab 3000 sensor can also be used as a stationary unit.

When HarvestLab 3000 is used in conjunction with JDLink and the JD Operations center, a wealth of important information becomes available to the operator, including productivity in acres per hour, throughput in tons per hour, total area harvested, total crop mass harvested, yields, and dry matter. All data documented on the G5^Plus Universal Display is shown in John Deere Operations Center.

When the HarvestLab 3000 is used in conjunction with the F8 and F9 Series Self-Propelled Forage Harvester (SPFH) and a G5 display, AutoLoc functionality is automatically available. AutoLoc automatically varies the length of cut according to the desired crop-dry matter correlation settings based on the dry matter readings from the HarvestLab 3000 sensor. With the AutoLoc adjustment, bunk density is improved and a high forage quality is reached.

Guidance options on F8/F9 SPFH

AutoTrac

Make long days easier with equipment and technology that works together for you. As equipment gets larger and margins tighter, accuracy of in-field operations and input placement is more critical than ever.
When making a pass in a field, traveling from one end of the field to another, the position accuracy of the return pass is critical. Pass-to-pass accuracy means the planter guess rows will be accurate and subsequent passes are less likely to result in crop damage.

 

AutoTrac™ assisted steering system greatly increases operator productivity by maintaining consistent accuracy and efficiency. Operators remain more alert while they are in the field and are able to focus on forage harvester settings and varying field conditions. AutoTrac also allows operators to confidently create evenly spaced rows past sunset, as well as in rain, dust, or fog.

 

AutoTrac provides the following benefits:

• Reduced overlap and soil compaction
• Greater field working speeds
• Reduced fuel and input costs
• Controlled traffic systems functionality
• Significantly reduced operator fatigue

To run AutoTrac, an activation is required on the display.

 

AutoTrac RowSense

AutoTrac RowSense is the next step for higher efficiency in corn harvest. This industry-leading technology fuses together satellite position data from the StarFire™ Receiver with feeler data gathered from the row sensor, allowing the operator to reach greater levels of productivity. AutoTrac RowSense in combination with an RTK signal allows the operator to benefit from repeatable accuracy of up to +/- 2.5 cm (1 in.) pass after pass. Operators can experience all the benefits of AutoTrac, including pinpoint accuracy, with AutoTrac RowSense as it enables automatic guidance in corn harvest. The technology allows the corn head and harvester to stay between the corn rows, keeping AutoTrac engaged and the operator relaxed.

 

To use AutoTrac RowSense, the header needs to be ordered with row feelers. An AutoTrac activation is needed as well.

Automation options for F8/F9 SPFH

Active Fill Control (AFC)

Improve the forage harvesting experience through automatic spout aiming from Active Fill Control (AFC). This advanced system uses a camera to detect the forage truck or trailer and the amount of forage in the truck. AFC then controls the spout rotation and flap position to execute an operator-selected fill strategy to the optimum fill level. The fill progress can be monitored in a quick glance by watching the video stream on the G5 or G5^Plus Display. Once the trailer is full and pulls away, AFC automatically begins searching for the next trailer without any need for the operator to adjust the spout. After headland turns, the spout automatically returns to the last filling position unless the operator is using ProTouch Harvest.

 

Beginning in MY26, the AFC system is completely re-designed with a new stereo camera, controller, software and accuracy.

 

AFC improves operator comfort by alleviating the stress of continuously monitoring the filling process. The operator has the freedom to focus on other tasks like machine optimization or communication with the harvesting fleet.

 

When harvesting in challenging field conditions, AFC keeps the spout aimed into the truck to minimize forage loss.

 

Rear unloading is possible if the machine is equipped with a StarFire™ receiver.

 

ProTouch Harvest

In MY26, John Deere equipped the F8 and F9 forage harvesters with ProTouch Harvest. ProTouch Harvest expands on the previous ProTouch feature utilized by customers. ProTouch Harvest allows customers to start harvesting faster than ever. Ground Speed Automation

To maximize productivity and efficiency of the new John Deere F8 and F9 forage harvesters, regardless of operator John Deere has introduced Ground Speed Automation (GSA). Becoming a skilled forage harvester operator is no small task, especially with the many things occurring at the same time while becoming familiar with forage harvester operation. That’s where the value of GSA is recognized by customers. Ground Speed Automation allows customers to set a max speed, a harvesting set point and the overall aggressiveness of the system.

 

When GSA is active, during chopping the system is designed to keep the machine at the optimal engine load. Therefore, as the machine encounters light crop the machine ground speed will increase automatically and when the heavier crop is present the ground speed will be reduced. This allows the machine to always perform at max capacity and efficiency. Owners now can put a general laborer in the seat of the SPFH and thanks to GSA that operator will soon be considered skilled labor with their operating efficiencies.

Display and Receiver Options for the F8/F9 SPFH

In MY26, John Deere forage harvesters feature a 10 in. (25.65 cm), 1080p HD, capacitive touchscreen. Tied with a StarFire™ Position receiver, the G5 CommandCenter™ provides the power needed to perform all of John Deere’s precision ag features. The G5 CommandCenter™ display includes the following:

JDLink system

The optional JDLink telematics system from John Deere Precision Ag Technology allows operators to optimize the true performance capabilities of their self- propelled forage harvester (SPFH). Optimization occurs by continuously collecting and transmitting machine data for machine management purposes. Machine data will be transferred wirelessly to a computer and/or mobile phone. In collecting operational information, the system enables the preventive maintenance and remote diagnostics of SPFHs, as well as the tracking of machines.

 

Information collected by JDLink includes location, machine hours, oil temperature, idle time, maintenance intervals, and a variety of other machine settings.

 

The data collected by JDLink is communicated to a central John Deere server and made available to registered users via a password-secure JDLink website. Machine owners can then access valuable equipment information quickly and efficiently to optimize machine operations before problems are realized by the current operator.

 

All SPFHs are equipped with the JDLink hardware ex-factory. This includes an integrated cab wiring harness, 4G antenna, and Modular Telematics Gateway (4G MTG) with Service ADVISOR™ Remote capability.

 

The JDLink connectivity can be turned on in Operations Center. For more information, view JDLink.

Service ADVISOR

Service ADVISOR diagnostics greatly assist in reducing service costs and downtime. It allows the John Deere service technician to readily extract vital information about machine malfunctions through the Service ADVISOR data port. Diagnostic codes and controller area network (CAN) bus statistics stored by the machine and visible in the CommandCenter™ display are used by service technicians to isolate, identify, and resolve problems.

 

Service ADVISOR Remote

Service ADVISOR Remote extends the machine connectivity of JDLink. With Service ADVISOR Remote, machines can be diagnosed remotely, saving the cost of a field service call. For example, diagnostic trouble codes can be reset, and software updates can be uploaded remotely.

 

Remote Display Access (RDA)

John Deere RDA enables quick communication around settings or messages on the displays. This allows the dealer or the farm manager to connect with the in- cab display and assist remotely with set up, performance optimization, or troubleshooting the machine. This improves the quality and efficiency of work while saving time and money.

 

Wireless Data Transfer (WDT)

WDT makes it easier than ever to manage prescription and field documentation files. Send and receive files seamlessly with the push of a button and eliminate the need for USB sticks and data cards. This feature allows operators the ability to share information with trusted advisors and make data-driven agronomic decisions that boost productivity and profit.

Overview

Due to the intelligent design, John Deere self-propelled forage harvesters (SPFH) can be equipped with the largest tires in the industry. Large tires with a diameter up to 2.15 m (7 ft) make it possible to achieve ground clearance of up to 50 cm (19.7 in.) on the John Deere SPFH with a high footprint.

Benefits

• Through the perfect weight distribution on the John Deere SPFH, minimal additional ballast is required when harvesting with a heavy header.
• John Deere SPFH can mount the largest tires in the industry with the highest footprint to reduce ground compaction and increase traction.

 

Tire options

A wide range of tires for John Deere SPFH is available to provide the right tire combination for the most varied conditions and requirements. That enables John Deere to offer the right tire size for the different producer requirements like traction in difficult conditions, low ground pressure to protect the soil, or road traffic licensing regulations.

 

Dual tires

Dual tires are offered for all F8 and F9Series SPFH. Dual tires are available in 520/85 R46 164A8 AgriBib® 2 from Michelin® brand. With dual tires, the machine works with increased stability on side hills as well as a smoother, improved ride in rough ground conditions. Dual tires also provide increased flotation and less compaction in soft conditions.

 

Tire spacing is 228.6 cm and 304.8 cm (90 in. and 120 in.) center line to center line. This is not 304.8 cm and 381 cm (120 in. and 150 in.) to be centered in 76.2-cm (30-in.) furrows.

Air Compressor Package

John Deere SPFH can be equipped with an air compressor package. The air compressor package is required to run an XStream305 kernel processor or to install an air horn. With the air compressor package, all required connections around the SPFH are installed for easy access.

 

Central tire inflation system (CTIS) is a new feature on all F8 and F9 SPFH beginning in MY26.  Any F8 or F9 SPFH ordered with the central tire inflation system or central tire inflation system ready will be required to be ordered with the air compressor HD package. The F9 900 and F9 1000 are equipped with the air compressor HD package and optional air dryer as standard equipment.

 

The standard duty air compressor Includes 1-cylinder 350cc water cooled air compressor delivering reliable service for the air horn, XStream Kernel Processor and StalkBuster header.

 

The Air Compressor HD package Includes 2-cylinder 720cc water cooled air compressor delivering 1000L/min. Ideal for the Central tire inflation system and excessive use of compressed air.

 

An optional air dryer can be ordered and is fully integrated to clear the air system of potential moisture. Recommended harvest in moist and freezing conditions.
